Madison Potter

Founder, President

Madison graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas McCombs School of Business. She currently works at Microsoft in Sales Compensation. After spending the summer of 2017 in Arusha, Tanzania, she came home with a desire to do more. Madison looks forward to sending many more kids to school in the future and seeing a world where every child has the opportunity to get an education.

Jordan Potter

Co-founder, VP of Finance

Jordan obtained an undergraduate degree in Accounting and Computer Science from Trinity University and a Master in Business Administration from Vanderbilt University. She currently works for Deloitte Consulting, serving clients within their Human Capital practice. After having the opportunity to visit Madison in Tanzania in 2017, she knew right away that there was significant opportunity to improve these children’s lives by providing them the ability to attend school.

Linda Potter

VP of Fundraising 

Linda spent 15 years as a stay at home mom. She served as a board member for the Lonestar Soccer Club, president of numerous school PTA boards and remains active in her community. Linda currently works for Broadcom as VP, Commercial Partner Organization. She values the importance of education and is proud to work with her daughters to enrich and change the lives of those in need. Since first visiting Tanzania in the summer of 2019, she continues to look forward to many return trips.

McKenzie Wells

Communications Chair

McKenzie received a degree in Corporate Communication and minor in Business from the University of Texas in May 2022. She joined Mesha's Village in November of 2019 as an intern assisting with our social media accounts and monthly newsletters, and she is excited to join the Mesha’s Village team in a more permanent role.

Miranda Lachman

Sponsor Operations Chair

Miranda graduated with a Bachelor degree with a focus in Finance and Information Systems from the Foster Business School at the University of Washington. She currently works at Microsoft in business development and lives in San Francisco. She learned about the Mesha's Village mission through Madison and felt compelled to join the team!

Valence Minja

Tanzania Operations Chair

Valence is our eyes and ears on the ground in Tanzania. As a Tanzanian local, he is fluent in Swahili, as well as English which allows our team to effectively communicate with orphanage directors, haggle with store owners, and speak with parents of children who don’t speak English. He is passionate about people and his country, and is excited about the future of Mesha’s Village.

Emily Dicks

Social Media and Communications Intern

Emily is a Junior at The Pingry School in Basking Ridge, NJ. At Pingry, Emily is the leader of Model UN and editor of the school’s yearbook. She has spent the last two years traveling around the world to learn more about education abroad. She has a passion for how public policy and education impacts student’s lives. Emily will help the Mesha’s Village team with the social media accounts and monthly newsletters.
