
Madison Potter
Founder, President
Madison graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas McCombs School of Business. She has 7 years of corporate finance experience & currently works at Broadcom as an Account Director. After spending the summer of 2017 in Arusha, Tanzania, she came home with a desire to do more. Madison looks forward to sending many more kids to school in the future and seeing a world where every child has the opportunity to get an education.

Jordan Potter
Co-founder, VP of Finance
Jordan obtained an undergraduate degree in Accounting and Computer Science from Trinity University and a Master in Business Administration from Vanderbilt University. She currently works for Deloitte Consulting, serving clients within their Human Capital practice. After having the opportunity to visit Madison in Tanzania in 2017, she knew right away that there was significant opportunity to improve these children’s lives by providing them the ability to attend school.

Linda Potter
VP of Fundraising
Linda dedicated 15 years to raising her family as a stay-at-home mom, during which she served on the board of the Lonestar Soccer Club and held multiple leadership roles as president of several school PTA boards. Deeply committed to her community, she continues to stay actively involved in local initiatives.
Today, Linda is a Senior Director in the America’s Partner Organization at Broadcom. She values education and takes great pride in working alongside her daughters to help enrich and transform the lives of those in need.

Valence Minja
Tanzania Operations Chair
Valence is our eyes and ears on the ground in Tanzania. As a Tanzanian local, he is fluent in Swahili, as well as English which allows our team to effectively communicate with orphanage directors, haggle with store owners, and speak with parents of children who don’t speak English. He is passionate about people and his country, and is excited about the future of Mesha’s Village.

Miranda Lachman
Sponsor Operations Co-Chair
Miranda has a Bachelor degree with a focus in Finance and Information Systems from the Foster Business School at the University of Washington. She is based out of San Francisco where she works at Microsoft in business development. Miranda is responsible for sponsor operations & is excited for the future growth of Mesha’s Village.

Erika Longford
Sponsor Operations Co-Chair
Erika holds a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minor in Architecture from the University of Oklahoma. She brings three years of experience in commercial interior design, with a focus on corporate offices, industrial spaces, and laboratories.
After years of dedicated volunteer involvement with Mesha’s Village, Erika is thrilled to officially join the team. She is eager to combine her creative vision and design expertise to further the mission and expand the impact of Mesha’s Village.

McKenzie Wells
Communications Chair
McKenzie joined Mesha's Village in November of 2019 as an intern assisting with our monthly newsletters and social media. She graduated from The University of Texas with a degree in Corporate Communications and currently freelances in the live music/events space as a hospitality & production coordinator. She now serves as our Communications chair helping with fundraising communications, digital content & event execution.

Ashton Potter
Secretary
Ashton graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2020 with a bachelors in Marketing and a minor in Finance. Ashton is based in Austin working in software sales at Broadcom for the last 5.5 years. She is a current sponsor to Nuriada, and loves attending Mesha’s Village events. As the youngest Potter daughter, Ashton is excited to officially be a part of the team serving as secretary.

Julia Mahler
Social Media and Communications Intern
Julia is a senior at a high school in Luxembourg where she focuses on studying history, English literature, and economics to pursue her dream of becoming a lawyer and advocating for those in need. In addition to academics, she is passionate about music and teaching. She is a percussionist, singer, and a tutor for younger students in English and French. As a member of Mesha’s Village she will help produce monthly newsletters and keeping our social media up to date.

Teodora Malai
Social Media and Communications Intern
Teodora is a 2025 graduate of the High School Athénée in Luxembourg, and aspires to pursue a career in medicine, fueled by her passion for science and service. In July 2024, she met the Mesha's Village team through an unexpected encounter that left her inspired by the mission and the organization. Eager to get involved, she now contributes by supporting the team with social media content and monthly newsletters, hoping to amplify the voice Mesha's Village.
